Premium Wound Rotor Induction Motor for Industrial Applications

The wound rotor induction motor is a high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motor product developed and manufactured by ZCL based on years of experience in R&D and production of high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors. The wound rotor induction motor adopts a box-type structure, with the frame made of steel plate welded box structure, which is lightweight and offers good rigidity.

The stator of the YRKS large high-voltage slip ring motor adopts a slide-in external press-fit structure. The stator winding uses F-class insulation material, with reliable fixing and bundling at the end. During the manufacturing process, multiple inter-turn pulse voltage tests and ground pressure tests are carried out using the vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) solventless paint process. Therefore, the motor has excellent and reliable insulation performance, good mechanical strength, and strong moisture resistance. The wound rotor is also treated with Class F insulation and VPI solventless paint process. The rotor weld joints and wiring are fully insulated. The slip ring and stator winding of the motor are located in two isolated spaces to prevent toner from entering the winding. The bearing is available in two types: rolling bearing and sliding bearing. According to the power and speed of the wound rotor induction motor, the basic protection level is IP54. If the wound rotor requires a higher protection level, the protection level of the bearing will also be increased accordingly.

The main outlet box of the high-voltage slip ring motor has an IP54 protection grade. It is generally installed on the right side of the motor (facing the motor shaft extension end), or can be installed on the left side according to customer requirements. The main outlet box is equipped with a separate external grounding terminal. A separate water cooler system is installed on the top of the wound rotor.

• The wound rotor induction motor is suitable for use in environments where the ambient air temperature does not exceed 40 °C and there is no serious dust. The minimum ambient air temperature is -15 °C, and there is no corrosive or explosive gas in the air (it can also be manufactured as a damp heat or high-altitude motor).
